Julien’s “Hollywood: Legends & Royalty” auction took place September 6-8, 2023. It included two original chakrams from Xena: Warrior Princess.
Lot #289 is a stunt version of the Dark Chakram. “This prop is composed of a lightweight foam material that has been hand-painted in an iridescent silver-tone and gold-tone finish, and features pearl-like inserts.” The estimate was $2,000 – $3,000 and it sold for $4,550!
Lot #288 is an easily screen-matched version of the Balanced Chakram from the season six episode “Send in the Clones”. “This prop is composed of a dense rubber material that has been hand-painted in an iridescent silver-tone and gold-tone finish, appearing worn from studio aging.” The estimate was $4,000-$6,000 and it sold for an incredible $9,100!
