I purchased this pair of swords from a New Zealand collector on eBay. They were used by the nomadic tribes seen in the sixth season Xena: Warrior Princess episode, “Legacy.”
These swords are made of cast resin and are broken off cleanly halfway down the blade. This indicates they were used in the teaser of the episode when Xena uses her chakram to prove her identity to Kahina (Alison Bruce).
Others like them can be seen in the battle scenes where many of the nomads carry them.
