I bought this from IAW in an eBay auction ending April 16, 2010. Pieces like this were used on the Vulcan Jellyfish ship in JJ Abrams’ Star Trek (2009).
It appears to have been created by taking several industrial items, putting them together and then making a mold from which several were cast in heavy resin.
You can see three spouts like these near the floor at the bottom right of this image.
UPDATE: As of August 15, 2010 this piece is no longer in my collection. I sold it to forum member, Jordino.
