Turner Classic Movies and the Criterion Collection are two of my favourite things and today they released some exciting news. They are partnering to form an on-demand streaming service called FilmStruck!
Just imagine the catalogue of films that this will make available! Personally, I love to own DVDs and Blu-rays (physical media will never die!) but the cost of trying to own every film I love is prohibitive. This would also be a way to discover new favourites that I haven’t had a chance to see. The Turner catalogue alone is simply massive!

And now for the bad news… FilmStruck is only only going to be available to US customers. We here in Canada, though blissfully Trump-free, will be missing out on this amazing service. le sigh.
