The Self-Styled Siren is Farran Smith Nehme and any lover of classic film should be following her blog. Nehme invites readers to join her on an informative and entertaining journey through cinema’s history. Since 2005 she has been sharing her favourites and cataloguing rare and lost films. I love the wonderful images she selects to accompany and illustrate her posts.
Last year, Nehme published her first novel, Missing Reels. I discovered it quite by accident at the library and I had a lot of fun with it. It lead me to her blog which I continue to explore and enjoy.
